This week we welcome Hannah Morris to the Dreamtek team
This month we’ve welcomed Hannah Morris to the Dreamtek family. Hannah joined us on the 13th June as our Head of Sales. Hannah comes from a dedicated sales background, with extensive experience in both leadership and direct sales roles. Hannah will be responsible for the smooth running of our sales department and is excited to apply her knowledge to a new area.
We were able to ask Hannah a few questions during her busy first few weeks on the job.
1. Hannah, how long have you been in sales?
I’ve been in sales since my school days, even selling tickets to my 18th birthday party. I’ve sold products, services and solutions for professional businesses for the past 10 years.
2. What do you enjoy about working in sales?
I love working and communicating with people and sales enables me to do this on a daily basis. I am passionate about introducing companies to new ideas and solutions to help them progress and grow, and thrive when speaking to people who have a clear vision and enjoy helping them bring it to life.
One of the things I enjoy most about sales is that by inspiring change and development, it can really make a difference to a business.
3. What will your responsibilities be within Dreamtek?
Dreamtek is a hidden gem within the video production industry so my role is to drive exposure and to support, develop and deliver strategic multi-channel business growth. I’m here to inspire and motivate our teams, creating strategies to support our already successful growth.
4. Why Dreamtek?
Dreamtek share my passion for innovation, creativity and high quality service. I felt inspired watching their showreel of work which features just some of the incredible clients Dreamtek work with.
Dreamtek are at the forefront and cutting edge of technology which is a really exciting place to be.
5. What has stood out to you in your first few weeks at Dreamtek?
I’ve been blown away by how incredible every individual at Dreamtek is and how everyone is so passionate, hard-working and collaborative. Everyone here strives to deliver such a high standard of service and is dedicated to do whatever it takes to get a job done and deliver exceptional video content.
The company feels like a big family and with offices and staff across the world we are all united, we communicate daily and share the same visions and goals.
6. Where do you see the future of video production?
Video production has changed significantly over the past few years however the backbone of it hasn’t and this is storytelling. We need to look at virtual reality and augmented reality from the ground up, re-inventing how to storytell. These new mediums (Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, Social VR, Mixed Reality) provide a method of fully immersing yourself in an entirely different world. I had the opportunity to recently play around with Google Tilt Brush which was truly an amazing experience!
The world is just beginning to comprehend how powerful these tools could be for brands, and we are working on maximising their full potential. We need to understand what AR and VR adds to our traditional techniques and how it gives life to unique approaches for the brands and companies that we work with. The core idea of who Dreamtek are will stay the same, however the techniques we use will continue to evolve. We have a team of innovators who stay on the cutting edge of these new technologies which are enhancing the future of production.
