2016’s Top Trending 360 Videos On Facebook 360
360 Degree videos are becoming more and more popular on social media sites and with marketers being drawn to this medium since the launch of 360 video on Facebook in September 2015. Here we sum up the top trending 360 videos on Facebook.
Facebook its self has been amazed at by all the ways that “publishers, video creators and storytellers have been experimenting with this immersive new format.”
360 films allow the viewer to have a different perspectives on the video and scene by allowing you to move and explore from different angles. Since the last quarter of 2015 viewers have been transported into Antarctica, space, the jungle with the Jungle Book movie and to the Olympic Games in Rio. With some films reaching 25.8million views they are not disappointing.

February – Deadpool Movie Video, promotional video with Ryan Reynolds.
March – National Geographic, video of one of the most active volcano’s on the planet erupting.
April – Game of Thrones, explore the world of Westeros.
May – Facebook, filmed inside Grand Central Terminal for the first film shoot on the new Facebook Surround 360 camera!
June – BBC News, filmed an expedition in 360 video of penguins in Antarctica.
July – National Geographic, dive through an Oil Rig Ecosystem.
August – Mastercard, the Rio Olympics.
September – UNVR , Beyond the lake is a 360 video of one woman’s quest to protect her daughters futures whilst battling as a refugee.
