Dreamtek join Google for the 2017 CMO event
Dreamtek recently had the pleasure of joining Google for their CMO 2017 event. The Google CMO (Chief Marketing Officer) Academy is an initiative that promotes digital marketing through the suite of Google services, including YouTube, Google Ads, Google Cardboard and Google Play.
The exclusive two-day event was invite only
It was only attended by top marketing executives from 200 global brands. This transformative event looked at creating a formula for success using audience insights, content distribution and measurement. Attending organisations had pre-prepared the barriers and challenges they are currently facing and Google provided support on how to overcome these with digital transformation, by putting the customers and brand values at the heart of the online strategy.
Content presented included how to convert during those ‘micro-moments’ i.e. capturing people throughout their daily movements and online interactions. How to deliver multi-screen marketing and capturing marketing ROI. Plus, how using the Google Insight Toolkit, which incorporates Google Suggest, Google Trends and Think with Google, can work within any marketing team.
The event offered many opportunities to network and socialize with peers this event is one every marketing executive hopes to attend.
We had a special opportunity to partner with AbelCine. Dreamtek executed the creatives, and AbelCine’s Integration Department provided the 2 Nokia OZO cameras. They also designed and built the Nokia OZO Live Flypack to be used to live stream a fully stitched VR video to YouTube.
Using this innovative technology Dreamtek & AbelCine live streamed the entire event in 360. In addition we participated in the conversation presenting the NOKIO OZO 360˚ camera. During the 2 day event Dreamtek demonstrated its capabilities along with presenting strategic ideas.
We used two OZO’s: One in the Event Space where the conference was being held, and live streamed the event to YouTube in 360˚.
The other camera was setup outside in the networking spaces. This camera generated a huge buzz and was used to give a demonstration of how the technology works.
We also had Oculus VR headsets and Google VR Headsets, for participants to watch what was going on inside the Event Space live in 360˚ via the headset. Attendees were also able to watch this content in 360˚ via their mobile device or laptop.
The event was a huge success for Dreamtek, generating excitement and interest in using the technology for event and other applications.
