What You’ll Do

We are seeking a Talent Booker to join our UK based team in a remote/hybrid working capacity. This individual will be required to have a good understanding of the AV, Broadcast & Production industry being able to work under direction helping source new talent both in a freelance and full time capacity. 

Some of the primary responsibilities will be supporting internal and external recruitment, booking AV & Production crews for our projects Globally, maintaining compliance procedures, budgeting & quoting, and carrying out regular updates and health checks with Dreamtek’s freelance database to ensure that we are consistently attracting the most sought after freelancers in the AV & Production industry.

The Day-to-Day

    • Reporting to Dreamtek’s Head of Talent
    • Working under the guidance of our Head of Talent to fulfill all project crewing requests.
    • Manage the freelance registration, onboarding & IR35 check process.
    • Working with finance and wider internal teams on quotes, budgeting reconciliation and freelance invoicing.
    • Continuously working to grow a pool of new talent across EMEA, APAC & NAM Markets.
    • Coordinates regional open days in alignment with the wider business objectives and talent strategy.
    • Acting as the ‘go to’ for freelancers whenever there are issues. 
  • Account Managers will be the main point of contact on the team,  ensuring that any bigger issues are escalated to them.
  • Work closely with our Head of Talent to ensure the vision for our clients is delivered, and the standard of freelancers is continuously increasing to support the direction and innovation within the business.
  • Work alongside the Production team to ensure that all freelance rates and travel costs are inputted correctly on the booking system each week.
  • Assistance in creating quotes for any referred projects from Dreamtek’s on-site teams for crewing requests
  • Work with the wider production department, as a key representative of the booking team to confidently answer any freelance related issues as part of internal & external meetings
  • Adhoc recruitment support to Dreamtek’s Head of Talent. 
  • Supports with candidate communications & rejections for inbound applicants for the roles that have been assigned.
  • Scheduling interviews for junior and mid-level applicants with the wider interviewing team.  

What You’ll Need

  • 2+ years experience in a similar role
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field or area of expertise is preferred
  • Experience using ATS or CRM systems is highly preferred 
  • A strong understanding of the skills associated with AV, Production & Post Production freelancers
  • A good awareness of the technologies associated with each technical skill set in AV & Production is preferred
  • A good understanding of GSuite tools
  • Be able to work as part of a team as well as using your own initiative.
  • Be willing to continually update and improve knowledge and skills.
  • Adaptable, flexible and willingness to learn.
  • Strong desire to learn new technologies and solutions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with internal staff and external clients
  • Ability to work with tight and aggressive deadlines 
  • Adopt a highly organised approach to managing time, workflow and talent processes.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to resolve issues diplomatically and calmly
